A showroom, not a warehouse
One room in the old town where every piece is unpacked, set up and explained before it goes home with you.
How we choose what we carry
We carry a maker only when we can stand behind it: official stock from the maker or its distributor, the full warranty registered in your name, and someone on the showroom floor who knows the range well enough to tell you when something is not right for you.
That means fewer brands than a department store, and no grey imports. It also means that when something goes wrong, you bring it back to us and we deal with the maker.
One showroom
Everything we sell is on display and can be heard, held or worn before you decide.
Nine makers
Chosen for how their pieces are made, serviced and supported, not for their advertising.
A bench of our own
Set-up, servicing and repairs happen here, by the people who sold it to you.
Looked after here
Cameras serviced, turntables aligned and watches regulated on our own bench. Bring anything back for a check, whenever you like.

They spent an hour with me and talked me out of the more expensive speakers. That is why I keep coming back.

My film camera came with a service report, and they explained every line of it.

The phone was set up and ready when I collected it, with everything moved across.
